Guernsey Finance Names New Boss Of International Business Development

has hired Kate Clouston as director of international business development.

In the newly created role, Clouston will be responsible for evaluating and developing new geographical markets. She will also work to build strategies around emerging financial products and attracting new companies to Guernsey.

Clouston was previously programme head for the Royal United Services Institute, an independent British think tank engaged in defence and security research.

“Given her experience, we identified Kate as the ideal candidate for this newly created role and believe she will be a real asset not only to the Guernsey Finance team, but to the Island’s finance industry as a whole,” said Guernsey Finance's chief executive, Dominic Wheatley.

“Her communication skills are exemplary and I look forward to working in tandem with her as we target new markets and products for the benefit of Guernsey’s finance industry.”

Guernsey Finance is the promotional agency for the offshore jurisdiction’s finance industry internationally.
